An adult northern elephant seal nicknamed “Panchito,” who has been monitored by marine biologists since 2020, appeared on Los Ayala beach in Compostela on January 28, prompting Mexican Navy personnel to establish a security perimeter around the ten-foot-long animal.

    Omg everything is about climate change.
    This is a lie!
    Elephant seals have a molting season that occurs between April and August. During their molt the have to remain on dry land for 4 to 6 weeks while they shed their fur and skin.
    So put the climate change idea in a pipe and smoke it.
