Today, at Madrid Open it happened the inevitable
It’s easier to understand if you think that the ball hits the white line first and then hits the clay second. The white line is not the ground. It’s a kind of tape that it laid on top of the ground. So it makes sense that in the shot they shot here it (1) hit the white line and then (2) continued on to hit the ground. So the ball is in even when mark in the clay is out.
