That dress was definitely a choice. It’s giving more summer movie premiere vibes than Oscars. Like, American Pie or The Other Woman energy. Don’t get me wrong, she looked hot, but for the Oscars? Nah. If you’re gonna go that sexy and casual, at least balance it with a more demure color. The bright yellow with the casual , sexy cut just made it feel… not tacky, but definitely not Oscars appropriated . And that whole tier of dresses only works if you’re not a A list star .meaning when Jennifer Lawrence or Nicole Kidman goes to the Oscar’s their tier of dress choices don’t change it’s always going to be the custom dress from the big designer houses .
