Rahal and Power are pros. They know the lines, braking points, accel points, in-car adjustments, etc, of the guys around them. A review of the racing line that Rahal was taking on previous laps will tell the story here. If he adjusted his line in hopes of defending against Power, this crash is on Rahal. However, if he was doing the same thing he had done throughout the race at that corner, this crash was Power’s fault. BOTTOM LINE: If there was no penalty as a result of the contact and Power finished third, obviously, Rahal was at fault
