This marks the end of an era for DIY Network as it launched on September 30, 1999, until January 5, 2022 at 6 AM EST when it rebranded to the Magnolia Network which is now partly owned by Chip and Joanna Gaines, the hosts of HGTV’s Fixer Upper, alongside Discovery, Inc.
The final program to air under the DIY Network brand was Flea Market Flip at 4:30 AM EST followed by infomercials from 5-6 AM, and then the launch of the Magnolia Network at 6 AM EST with the first episode of Fixer Upper.
