A detective reviewed the three interviews with Naresh Bhatt, recorded on bodycam on separate occasions in August 2024. While discussing footage from August 9, she said Naresh appeared unconcerned and unaffected during the interviews, despite his wife, Mamta Kafle Bhatt, being missing. He also said he was stressed because he couldn’t work without a babysitter. Naresh is on trial for allegedly murdering and dismembering his wife, whose body has not been found.

I knew her. I was her class coordinator and taught her for two years. We lived in the same hostel. Without any doubt I can tell that she was so kind, gentle , understanding pure soul. She was a gem. It feels like a bunny got in fox’s trap. It’s too heavy in heart hearing him blaming her for things. He was so lucky to have her . Sorry for him for not realising how lucky he was to have her.

This tale is old as time same boring defense about reasonable doubt, and the state not proving their case, blah blah blah. Thank God, the jury is always told not to leave their common sense at home. The only doubt here is unreasonable doubt.😅
