This is probably my 5th time watching this, and it is still an excellent and enjoyable piece of history. I think Denzel’s wife, Pauletta is also in this movie. The young lady from Temple who Wilma met on her first day there and she said she wanted to play basketball with Wilma.

I’m 52 never saw this movie & never heard about her In high school all we saw was Roots🤬🤬🤬🤬 They never and still don’t teach that Black people,my people. Invented 90% of what we used today or inspired us with true history movies like this . I’m so glad young black people have technology and can have access to the True Black History ! Black People is AMERICAN PEOPLE !!!! I’m so proud to be an FBA.
