We are learning more about international efforts to help those impacted by the deadly earthquakes that recently rocked Venezuela. This includes help from the United States who continued relief efforts last week by delivering 10 U.S. Marine Corps Medium Tactical Vehicle Replacements (MTVRs) to assist victims in addition to providing other humanitarian assistance. LiveNOW’s Shawna Jhalafi is speaking with the founder of Mercy Chefs, Gary Leblanc, who has been on the ground in Venezuela to help with recovery efforts.

Amazing, their government sending battalion of fully arms army to diasaster sites across venezuela to stand around keeping order and keep buried victim safe from attack, as though like their country is at war, instead of hit by an earthquake while foreign search rescue team are working 24/7 to find survivor under those rubble. Go figure

Samaritan’s Purse has had their field hospital set up I believe on the third day after the quakes. They have provided medicine, doctors, nurses and many others; the entire field hospital near the hospital building that was there. They are distributing tarps and blankets too. Christian Broadcasting Network has also sent it’s Operation Blessing Teams to help, to provide for needs as well. Both organizations are helping with lights, food and emergency supplies.
