In an exclusive interview with DJ Mag, David Morales reflects on the origins of his career, from DJing at the Paradise Garage to remixing Whitney Houston at just 25 years old.

Morales explains how ‘Needin’ U’ wasn’t originally going to be released, but the demand for the track was so high he was forced into putting it out to the world. It quickly became a hit, especially in Ibiza, where Morales would go on to shoot the video at venues including Pacha and Pikes.

Almost 30 years on, the track has stood the test of time, but more importantly so has David Morales’ love for music.
