Two years left plus a possible franchise tag and you sign them to the highest contract ever for a right tackle. This contract is more about polls than it is Darnell rights play. Over paid because of Jalen Carter mistake.
I’m sure Poles and his number crunchers know what they’re doing. What would a franchise RT cost 2-3 yrs from now? Especially if he stays at a pro bowl level?
I’m expecting the bears to still br one of the league leaders in take away because al Harris is a great coach we’re lucky no one made him a DC.
JJ needs to have a pro bowl year in 2026 or he’s gonna be traded or released before 2027.
