I remember when Jaylon Johnsonโs deal was expensive now itโs a below market. It makes sense to sign guys early
Two years left plus a possible franchise tag and you sign them to the highest contract ever for a right tackle. This contract is more about polls than it is Darnell rights play. Over paid because of Jalen Carter mistake.
Iโm sure Poles and his number crunchers know what theyโre doing. What would a franchise RT cost 2-3 yrs from now? Especially if he stays at a pro bowl level?
Iโm expecting the bears to still br one of the league leaders in take away because al Harris is a great coach weโre lucky no one made him a DC.
JJ needs to have a pro bowl year in 2026 or heโs gonna be traded or released before 2027.
