Why the secrecy? Why delay the truth? There are lawful protocols, duties and responsibilities regarding the VACANT seat of Mitch McConnell. Trump and his ilk do not rule the world. The entire Government must ALWAYS honor and abide by the USA laws transparently and ethically, no matter the political party.

You heard it here first; after seeing the video of Mitch McConnell being placed in the ambulance, he is dead. Look at his feet, and the way the crew handle the body is standard operating procedure when you don’t want people to know if the person is dead or alive. Stop playing and do your job

What about, we’ll say in a hypothetical situation, if a person is brain dead, has a brain disease that causes an individual to not be in touch with reality, TBI that impairs the motor skills to get dressed, speak, be mobile since you have to be present to vote!?!
I personally don’t like Booker’s wording about how some individuals don’t know when to step aside. In years previous I believe McConnell should have stepped aside when he was somewhat cognizant of his failing health and could speak on an argument, stick to his points and verbally communicate well enough. But currently he has no capacity to choose anything, whether to step aside or stay. At least for the last year I don’t believe he understands why he’s being put in a suit everyday, what he’s doing there or even that he a job with specific tasks. Ever since they started pushing him in a wheel all around the capitol, I think his mind was completely un-functional from there forward. He never makes a comment or a joke to the person pushing him. He doesn’t talk to anyone. His face doesn’t light up or show acknowledgement when individuals he’s known decades approach him. It’s been so sad to see.
Many won’t step aside when they should and that’s exactly why we need a documented, well outlined standard defining one’s ability to cognitively do there job that is use for leaders across the country and a follow up plan depending on results. We might so dumb that we keep voting in very old people (not that all old is bad) but it sure does increase the likelihood of debilitating illness coming hard and fast along with cognitive decline. But if we’re going to keep being so dumb, we need to at least have a rescue plan from our Pune idiotic decision
