Go get ‘em COCO!!
Haters will always be mad at Gauff, Raducanu, etc even though they have Grand Slam titles. I don’t get it.
?! Why come here and post such an awfully negative comment? We don’t know that anyone really “hates” wonderful Coco now, much less for “always!” Bigots should quit it, but with the prayers and support of her family, friends, and fans she can be amazingly successful.
Coco will be fine it’s more mental, she’s constantly berated on social media for playing a sport she loves, no one is perfect but at least she knows her weaknesses which will eventually become her strengths, stay up Coco❤🎉you’re winning because you’re trying Babygirl
It’s definitely not mental. Her mentality is one of her strengths – it’s one of the primary reasons she won in Paris. The problem is technical – on the serve. Surprised she’s done this now, but if the moment presents itself then take it. I suspect if this change goes well then Gauff’s gonna be dangerous at all the slams next year.
Disagree. I feel her mentality and style NEEDS to attempt to fix it to feel better about her game. Maybe she’s the type where doing nothing actually makes it worse?
Obviously I have no clue…😅 but if I have to guess I’d say this is a positive because the attempt in itself to fix the serve will build confidence which could result in feeling better to play better tennis.
Totally agree with you.
That is why Queen V should be given so much credit for what she has allowed us to see in trying to get ready in 1 month…
Gauff is inspiring❤❤❤
Coco seems like a lovely young woman, and to win two SLAMS at 21 is amazing. But yeah, many of her wins are because she played less bad. The inconsistency is atypical for a player ranked this high. Not sure why every commentator explains her Wimbledon 1st round loss to the exhaustion of winning the French Open. It wasn’t a problem for Alcaraz & Sinner following their epic finals in Paris. Just feels like there’s so much that’s financially riding on Gauf between ratings, sponsorships, etc, that few commentators are willing (or able) to give a fair critique.
Coco’s talent shines, but consistency still wobbles
