The level of civilisation of a society is thightly correlated with the way they treat their prisoners.
Barely civilised societies will use blood for blood or an eye for an eye strategies in their justice system. Because they are not civilised enough to come up with more humane systems.
To me and many others, these type of practises are absolutely barbaric and is equal to primal animalistic behaviour, nothing to do with humanity and civilisation and justice or culture.
It lacks empathy and compassion entirely.
Yet they all say they believe in Jesus. It s absolutely laughable.
It s behaviour that belongs to the lowest of the lowest, like burning witches, buying slaves and killing native populations.
Barbaric society.
