In recent years the German producer has become a staple in electronic music. With a history in composing music for films and video games, he’s since become known for his boundary-pushing melodic techno tracks and immensely popular collaborations with Anyma.
Here, Avantgarde lifts the lid on the techniques he’s used to develop his signature sound – from plug-ins and FX to musical arrangements
He’s now set to release his debut solo album, ‘Hyperreal’. Featuring a host of collaborators, the album blends cinematic club-ready cuts with more experimental compositions.
Beat from Scratch offers a unique insight into an artist’s creative process in the studio. Starting from a blank session, each artist builds a track from scratch in their own style, exploring everything from drum and synth programming to mixing, arrangement and more.
