I never heard of the vhs tapes rotting or getting moldy.. I need to check my Droids and Ewoks cartoon vhs tapes just to make sure . But I have to say loved the Doctor Who sets you have !! Take care Ed

A friend of mine had his vhs’ in the outside garage and he had to chuck em out due to damp and water damage, but this internal rot seems very weird if you ask me…
I suppose I should get my brother to check my laser-discs now! (more old shite!)

I now have too much old tat in my life. Dismantling the Toy Room has certainly made me think. Luckily I have never had any knob rot with my videos. Even those new Star Wars and Tron car boot vids are perfect. 😉👍
That Dalek tin annoyed me no end. Tapes in card sleeves in plastic trays instead of proper cases🤬
I was never a fan of the plastic tray but I quite liked the cardboard covers. Very American. It would have been nice if the BBC released a sleeve so you could have the tape in a normal box if you wanted.👍😉

@kingemerald4622 The Remembrance cover was one of the best & had a chunk cut out of it + the tin was padded out with a plastic tray holding the tapes so there was room for 2 proper cases inside anyway. I like uniformity with a series.
Laughing police🤣…Timeslides is a great book, all Colin Howards beautiful Doctor Who artwork, so much better than the later covers on vhs or dvd/blu-ray releases.
