I don’t believe this woman’s story at all.
I doubt anyone would die from a fall down those wide steps..slide down them and break a leg maybe..but blunt force to her head on wooden, wide steps would be possible, but not very probable
And it looks like Carol’s body is facing the wrong direction for a fall anyway. Her feet would be towards the steps, not her head. She would have had to cartwheel down those steps.
