if you’re going to speak of rules, then you should know AO allows MTO for “cramps” if it’s induced by heat illness which Alcaraz was already showing signs of early in the 3rd set and was vomiting into his towel. It’s within the rules.

3:45 You’re telling me, one of the top professional athletes, whose gone through many injuries and cramps, really did not know the difference? I am being harsh because the commentator is speaking with political correctness and I give him kudos for how he phrased that. But yeah, Carlos knew and took advantage, just like his idol Rafa did many, many times.

very biased analysis and I am not surprised, the legacy media have been trying to hype up Alco since day 1. Truth is Zverev should have taken the second set when he was up break and serving for it , but he served a poor game and gave himself a mountain to climb. He had chance again in the 5th, serving for match @ 5-3 and there was no power in his serve. Once again he served badly 4-5, trying to save set. Zverev played a major part in his own defeat.

And is Alco really is such a ” beast and a physical monster ” like they have all been gaslighting us ? A beast at 22 gets regularly injured in big matches ? Once thing to be fast and have stamina but whether you are an elite level mover is another thing, Alco looks on surface like he moves like Fed, Djoko and Nadal, but his insides apparently are not as well co-ordintaed as he all the legacy media want u to believe ! Hah !

Gooo Djoko, show ’em all how it’s done !

Can’t wait to see your salty loser face once Charly lifts the trophy on Sunday. 😹

“Zverev should have won the 2nd set but didn’t serve well, Zverev should a closed the 5th set leading 5-3 but didn’t serve well”..

PROPER LOSER, that’s what great players incflict on opponents, a disbelief in how they play.. Just a case of the best server losing his confidence against arguably the best returner ever! 😹

Can’t think of any media , legacy or not , which have not hyped Carlos….And for a reason , he is the best player in the world . 22 years old about to play for his seventh slam with the added bonus of becoming the youngest ever to win them all . Whats not to hype ?

@Plain2025-T And that is why the LM is dying, nobody wants sycophants. What bonus ? You don’t get extra prize money at the AO for winning other tournaments, Einstein. 😁
