I can’t remember Jackson, Mahomes, Allen or Burrow having such a hideous streak of terrible performances throughout their careers, not even very early on in their careers or as a rookie.
Can we agree that Maye certainly is NOT as bad a QB as he is playing right now?
But then we also have to agree that he wasn’t as good as he looked last year too when he had a very easy schedule and feasted on lots of tomato can teams.
He will continue to be a starting QB, maybe even become the face of the franchise for the Patriots.
But I don’t see him on the same level as any the QB’s mentioned above.
Not even close.
