I taught my children that if someone trues bullying them to tell the person to move along. When of course the idiot laughs and continues I told my children to send the punk straight to the nearest dentist.

So, if the kid was just a white Christian male, then he gets suspended for defending himself against bullying; while people from “oppressed communities” get special privileges. Why do special categories get special privileges? I was right there with that father defending his son; but, the turning point in the conversation should not have been the son’s membership in a special community. Justice should be across the board for all people!
If I was called in because my teenaged kid was being harassed for being gay and they were put into detention for fighting back, i have no tolerance for that level of moronic behavior from another person or a person in power of a school

Im 37 back then idk about now in texas schools even if its self defense both kids get suspended the aggressor and the one doing self defense zero tolerance. I always found it crazy legally they cant get arrested for self defense but school still suspend both kids

I was lucky enough to have cameras and a dad who was a lunatic. As long as i didnt throw the first punch it didnt matter how much damage i did, dad straight up threated to throw the principal through the window when i was going to be expelled. Still got suspended for 2 weeks but that was a vacation
