I feel like she does want to retire though. Sure, she’s had a resurgence of energy and happiness with the second leg of the Piece of Me residency, but with the first leg and the Femme Fatale tour, she didn’t seem like she wanted to be there for the most part. Plus, there’s a reason why she’s now been on a hiatus for 2 years already. And I feel like, from an ethical, personal perspective, the upside outweighs the downside, because the downside focuses on everyone but Britney; it focuses on her fans and her team. Sure, Britney also gets the revenue, but I don’t think that’s what she’s after. Plus, like Elton John she could also always do a farewell tour (or 3 – or 4 on the flooorrr) or another studio album if she really wanted to. And I think that if she were to retire, her team would most likely still release greatest hits albums, remix albums or unreleased/rarities albums to still make revenue.
I hope she continues to make music, but only if SHE wants to continue to make music. But yeah, that’s probably not what’s gonna happen. What’s gonna happen is that she’ll probably stay in the conservatorship for another few years, because of this ongoinf legal battle, then she’ll continue to finish her obligations with RCA and then her team/manager will probably push her towards a new contract, and it depends on whether by then Britney’s got enough power/support to say no if she doesn’t want to.
Don’t put this out into the universe 😔. But I hear you. You might be right :/
@JordanMillerBreatheHeavy Yeah it’s really sad how her whole career has altered because of how she’s been treated by her team, the media and, basically, the whole world 😔
Britney’s been taking long break’s between albums since 2004 so this isn’t surprising that we don’t have album after album. She’s at that point that she doesn’t need to constantly push one out after another.
I don’t think she’ll ever fully retire, I defiantly see her taking breaks after albums and possible tours.
I know for certain that she will write an amazing book one day and when she decides to make a movie about her life it is going to be amazing.
Once she’s free from the conservator ship and the abuse of her father she will rise like a phoenix like she always does.
Britney is a warrior and a beacon of light to so many of us, she has inspired us all. She has been the bright light that kept shining when I felt like I was trapped in a dark well, she has shown me that I can always get back up whenever I’m knocked down.
I’m so thankful to have been apart of the Britney army since I was a baby. We are all so supportive and loving towards one another and that makes me so happy.
We will support Brit no matter what she chooses. ❤️

I think she should find a way to terminate her conservativeship leave Hollywood refresh herself and see if she wants to continue or do a one and done with original doll then a book and be done or continue
