    Corporate Hedge fund fat cats getting richer whilst players who bring in the fans & money can’t even get 22% when other sports getting 45%. The talented kids outside 100 who don’t have a local federation or wealthy parents support have no chance in tennis and can’t even afford the hotel stays.

    I wonder what the OG Titans of tennis have to say about this – Billie Jean, Martina, Chris Evert? They were all involved in something similar back in the early 70’s.

    A very one sided discussion. 22% share of revenue is nearly 100% of the profit.

    The money the slams make goes to the grand slam development fund and the grass roots of the game.

    Do people on the panel want to answer whether they are happy for money to be taken away and redistributed to 250 events?
    How would that extra 7-8% bump prize money at a 250, when you have doubles players and separate mens and women’s events? Answer, it’s peanuts.

    Comparing Tennis to other sports is such a lazy uneducated take.

      @zlmdragon.

      How many Aus, French , GBR players coming and driving revenue, from those GS grass roots funds? How much money do GS waste before is seen what is left as profit?
