So let me get this straight. Grassley has canceled Todd Blanches confirmation because he doesn’t have the votes to confirm him as AG, but Blanche is acting AG so while Grassley can’t get him confirmed, Blanche still has the job.

BTW…Todd Blanche can serve as acting attorney general indefinitely, potentially for the remainder of President Trump’s term. Under U.S. Code § 508, a Senate-confirmed deputy attorney general can exercise all duties of the vacant top post with no legal time limit.
So essentially you all have been distracted. There is no need to confirm Blanche at all.
