Jean Stoffer works in two phases as she takes on the renovation of a 1916 brick house based in East Grand Rapids, MI. The first phase includes revamping a cramped second floor with four bedrooms. The Second phase of her redesign involves creating a stunning open floor plan kitchen. Afterwards, Jean teams up with a friend to redesign a midcentury modern home to appeal to today’s buyers. Finally, her daughter, Grace, takes on her first solo project and designs a new primary suite and backyard enclave for her own family’s home.
Designer Jean Stoffer takes on some of her most ambitious projects to date around her hometown of Grand Rapids, Mich. she shares the inspiration behind her stunning designs, as well as the important role family plays in her life and business.

David this, David that, she wants this , we’ll discuss it with David , he will be more receptive. . In 41 minutes I’ve heard Dave’s name mentioned so many times, Kristy’s name only once. But David’s grill, David’s bar. Poor girl hasn’t a chance. Yes undeniably a good designer, the house is stunning. but the people skills, not so much.
