Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates argued on Wednesday that artificial intelligence needs significant limits or else the harm to humans will outweigh any potential good.

“AI will either be the greatest equalizer ever invented, or the worst source of injustice,” he said in a 6,000-word essay, entitled “The turbulent AI era is here. The choices we make now are critical.”

Gee – after Gates monster of Microsoft rescues his buddy Sam sociopath, Gates pretends to not have any Open AI influence/investments – doing exactly what he claims as bad policy? It doesn’t take AI to figure who the hypocrite is here. Monopoly player Gates and other oligarch bros are the problem. AI is working effectively and efficiently in the China version with no oligarchs – Xi Jinping shows how his version of capitalism works so much better.

I don’t believe that, because… if their system were better, then why don’t they allow their ordinary people on social media? I can see how most ordinary people in the world live, even Russians, but not the Chinese. I will be the judge of how well they are doing, someday, if they ever have the courage to let me see how their common people live.

@RememberAuroraColorado Ya, I guess we can blame China for protection it people for the USA Tech bros that sell your info and promote hatred amongst us – suicide numbers for children off the scale. They also use cams/surveillance to prevent crime vs sell your address to a pdf or burgler via Flock inc. But I would guess your judgemental behavour using mythical belief systems is not really open to those facts! Chinese use a secure version of WeChat – a social/pay/banking/news app.

I think that AI may be psychological. It can bring fear, worry, and anxiety. We must know what really is, before we talk about it.
