I’m a big fan of this movie and cast
So am i
Patton Oswalt said of his role that while he’s not a sports fan, he learned that sports fans are just as crazy as sci-fi/fantasy nerds.
Talk about bad casting. Patton Oswalt as a football fan? Not believable.
Yeah it is
It’s completely believable. Sports fans like to think they’re all tough and manly, but sports are the most popular form of entertainment in the world. By default that means there are millions of people with demeanors and appearances like Patton Oswalt who follow it. I live near an NFL stadium and see them every Sunday in the fall.
The casting was solid fam. Especially Kevin Corrigan as his homie who is from nyc. And Michael Rapaport is perfect for Philadelphia Phil.
Typical call in fan. I might have to stop calling in after this movie!
Most are soft and overweight. Perfect character
Unsung movie, “Spence” was great in this.
Sorry Patton, when you create an iconic sitcom character, people remember.
lol I still think of Ryan Reynolds as the guy from “Two Guys, a Girl, and a Pizza Place”. Seriously though, Spence was the precursor to The Big Bang Theory.
Convinced myself this is in the same Cinematic Universe as the Sopranos lmao
I always want to see this movie. Not dissappointed at all.
Underrationed
