Bessent Defends Putting Trump’s Face on Special $250 Bill

US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent defended the idea of putting President Donald Trump’s face on a specially issued $250 bill, a move that is currently barred by the law. “At Treasury, we prepare things in advance,” Bessent told reporters on Thursday. “We have prepared in advance that if the legislation is passed, but we will stick to the law.”
