The Doctor and Ace arrive near the site of an archaeological dig to discover strange goings on that have already attracted the attentions of UNIT, now commanded by Brigadier Winifred Bambera. Soon a battle between the mythological characters of Arthurian legend is raging, but why do they all refer to the Doctor as Merlin?

Great Doctor, great companion, some great stories. But wow, has this era aged terribly in terms of visuals and audio. The cheapest ever.

I once heard Sylvester refer to himself on a panel as the man who ended the classic Dr who series. I think it was the cancer of feminism.
He was a great Doctorr put in bad writing.

During the cliffhanger on Episode 2 you can very faintly hear Sylvester McCoy yelling “Get her out!” because the tank had malfunctioned and nearly killed Sophie Aldred.
