I used to Forman a crew that took down log houses to restore. I felt the same way you all do. I enjoyed it more than any job I ever did. You never knew what you were going to find in the walls or in floors, ceilings and antics either. It was just a whole lot of fun.
The title of this show is nonsense/false advertising as the so called “Barnwood Builders” never actually build anything on the show. SERIOUSLY! They quite (literally do the opposite) of building. All they do is dismantling old structures so to reclaim good qaulity old wood. THATS IT!

There is an 1893 barn on route 13 in NYS between Ithaca & alpine junction that needs to be restored. It is so beautiful & needs to be restored b4 it falls in. It’s has a beautiful artist year painted on the end of the barn. I hope you are interested. Please just restore & not move it because it is a landmark
