I hate caviar not the taste the fact that you are killing thousands upon thousands of possible baby fish that could bring back low numbers of the fish population
90 – 95% of the modern caviar market is farm raised. Idiot. Farming is saving these fish.
@DonqulousJohnson so anyone typing something not conforming to your opinion is an idiot?
you must be extremely intelligent then
thank you!! 🙂
This guy leaves a tapestry of bs that could stretch across the U.S.
It’s called cold cuts that Americans are use to. And they usually go on a sandwich.
Finning is really cruel. They are brought into the boat, all fins cut off. Then the shark is thrown back into the ocean. A sin.
So is burning coal. China still does it anyway.
S
Yeah, just kill the shark and eat it, but then again that’s what happens to that shark – other sharks eat it as it’s bleeding out. Just like sharks do to every single other animal in the sea. When one shark dies, other sharks and small fish grow and live to produce offspring. It’s NATURE. Deal.
I totally agree . . . I was taught as a young child, you ATE what you Killed! If not, don’t kill it!
Yuck poor donkey
I LOVE ANDREW Z!!! PUT HIM BACK !!! HIS THE BEST FOOD BLOGGER IN THE World 🌎 💪💪💪💪⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
About 1965-1966 I was working in Kuwait at Mina Abdullah which is not far from the border with IRAQ. Working in that semi-isolated location, boredom was my primary occupation.
Through a Kuwaiti friend I booked a guided wild boar hunt in the swamps of the Tigris Euphrates delta. It was a bit primitive, but then that part of the world was primitive back then.
Anyway, I drove there (about 4 hours including border crossing/customs). I was greeted by my English speaking guide and interpreter. We had a dinner of lamb, rice, olives and raw vegetables plus two shots of ARAQ (liquorish Liquor, Haram in Islam).
I spent the night in a very clean and comfortable room with air conditioning. Early in the AM I had breakfast with my guide, Pita Bread, cheese, Liban (yogurt) and very bitter but habit-forming coffee.
My guide and I drove to a location deep in the swamps. He had had a modern rifle (.300 Magnum), identical to the one they provided to me. We came to a clearing where we were supposed to wait. “Beaters” were sent out ahead and started banging on big metal cans and sweeping back and forth in front of us. The first day we came-up Dry, but the dinner was again great. I got a Luke-warm shower but went to bead feeling refreshed.
The next morning was a repeat except we got 2 fresh eggs and toast with breakfast Plus they had a wonderful butter, made with Goat’s milk.
Again, my Guide and I drove out to the same clearing, and the Beaters went out.
After some time, I heard a “crashing” sound coming at us through the dense brush. I took a position behind a fallen tree trunk, with my guide slightly behind me, and flipped off the safety.
Suddenly a big boar crashed through into the clearing and was running directly at us. My heart was pounding, but my rifle was supported on the tree trunk, and I waited for a good shot. Since his head was down, the round hit him at the back of his skull and took out about 4″ of his spine. He went down hard, but his momentum slid him through the remaining distance and he came to rest almost between my feet. My heart was beating nearly out of my chest. I looked back at my guide who had a big grin on his face and he said “Wajid Zane” (Much Good, in Arabic). That’s my all-time scariest hunting adventure.
and then everyone stood up and applauded. yeah that totally happened, oh stranger in the internet who is totally not lying
