It is unfortunate that behind these people losing everything is a business that makes a lot of money with these fires, mainly buying all this wood for cheap for paper and anything you can make with it. It is a shame that the government here has no interest in making sure property owners maintain their properties so at least it mitigates the spread and risk of fires. Still to this day majority of firefighting helicopters and planes are still out of commission and it seems there is no interest of fixing them so we can act faster. In the end WE end up with nothing while the people behind this just call it a disaster and move on with their day on their big mansions. What a joke….

Minister of Internal Administration of Portugal appointed by Costa ( now EU council president ) gave the people smoke masks that actually caught fire and were extremely flammable .
This is only one example of that administration and the party that was leading Portugal
