funny to see people who know nothing about AI talk about the dangers of AI
it’s like watching cavemen discussing the dangers of modern cars

You can’t make AI like you cause code doesn’t have a like or dislike. It’s technically a glorified hammer. It’s a tool. Your pans do not like or dislike you.

I think people just giving up as we get bombarded with phishing attacks is probably not the best approach. It might make more sense to train people to recognize scams, so that they don’t fall for them.

Can you please ask someone in the know how producing a virus can work without real people? I don’t have a problem imagining AI working out a technology but all PRACTICAL production implies assembly lines, how are these beyond human control?

dont invoke women and motherhood to reason your way into thinking AI an be controlled. Also you’re not a mother, and cleary have not heard of ‘Cry it Out’, or been in the trenches of caretaking when you have to let the baby cry in its playpen while you go cry in the bathroom. Mothers do put their own needs ahead of their babies on occasions out of necessety and survival. Simplistic portrayal of mother/baby relationship you’re portraying. And won’t work for AI- it will then too find moments just like mothers where it puts its needs first.

Companies and governs refuse take regulations because any regulation will slow or limit AI develop and they don’t want to loose the technology competition with China for example . If occident accept AI IQ limit and strict regulations and access , the other communist , imperialist , terrorists countries will refuse do same or will continue in secret . Or someone in a garage or a secret place will do it anyway . Exactly like nuclear weapon . BUT guess what , no one will pay for that . Like China do with covid 19 in 2020 .
