Playboi Carti finally dropped Music—and it’s got the entire hip-hop scene in a frenzy. But here’s the real question: Behind the chaos, the energy, the cryptic vibes… is there something deeper going on?

We waited 1,067 days for this moment—three years of leaks, theories and late-night Instagram Lives. Carti fans know: Patience isn’t just a virtue; it’s a lifestyle. But now that the album’s here, a wild theory about AI might change how you see the whole project. Elijah Hooks, a veteran music engineer who’s worked with artists like Tyler, The Creator, Lil Wayne, Lil Baby, and many others, shares what he thinks about this AI theory.

even if u js look at the lyrics u can see its not carti. Its the same topic but he never done that. Even with experimentation he never sounded or flow like that

Damn bro, I wish music was still fun like I was back then like everybody wearing the clout goggles. I used to wear the stripe shirt because Playboi Carti used to do it. Now it is I don’t even want to follow Cardi at all. Anything he wears. I don’t even fuck with anymore like the dude did a complete 180 and I know he’s just changing. I know he’s not a drug addict anymore. I don’t know, bro. I just hope he’s doing good and I hope he comes back to his old self he had pretty outgoing vibes, even though he was quiet on interviews when he looked sober

I just hope Cardi comes back to his old self and actually bring excitement. He’s one of those rappers that will forever be underground even though he’s a mainstream rapper Cardi started making Instagram videos smoking high as fuck or not even high just interacting with different younger interview people or Youtubers, start going to shows venues start crowd, surfing, and shit even though he’s too old for that start popping out more it would make the underground scene better. It would change the sound. It would go back to the old sound and old.

this carti doesn’t use ai narrative is 100% being pushed by interscope/umg and carti’s team definitely made that dude keith lawson sign an nda to keep his mouth shut about the ai stuff and never admit he recorded them. that’s how I feel

There is 12+ ai songs. This video is only here to further push the idea it’s only two songs that they are trying to cover up. I would bet my entire life on it, I just know I’m never gonna convince anyone else

HB 5lockEm is the first AI drill rapper using the same methods that these major record labels are using with AI voice cloning. It’s not necessarily “AI generated,” but you can save your voice preset or “persona” to generate unlimited songs using your own voice. It’s only a concern if a rapper dies or already deceased artists like Tupac or MJ starts releasing all of these new songs using AI voice cloning and you can’t tell if these are “new” songs tucked away in a vault or AI generated.
