Opening statements began Monday in the murder trial of Lindsay Clancy, who is accused of killing her three young children inside the family’s Massachusetts home in January 2023 before attempting to take her own life. Prosecutors allege Clancy intentionally killed Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and Callan, 8 months, using exercise bands. The Commonwealth argued Clancy acted “intentionally, rationally, and swiftly,” while also alleging she later told medical providers that voices instructed her to kill her children so she could kill herself—and that the voices stopped after the killings. Clancy has pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity.

The medications psychiatrists prescribe are horrible. To me, knowing someone with schizophrenia made him worse, so much so he said the meds ate worse than the disease. It is a prescribe and release. Thus is a horrible ending but she needs placed in a medical facility not a prison. No one sane could ever do this
The woman looks angry all the time. Might be repressed anger. Just throw her in a mental asylum forever. Why annhiliate your babies? If you’re miserable just unalive yourself but not those defenseless babies.😢
I can’t wait for the people who prescribed the Mom ALL of those medications and the quantities she was given. They have some explaining to do. Perhaps if the Mom read what Brooke Shields went through with her post-portum depression she might have had better information for her problem than what those damn medical practitioners did to her head. Becoming bi-polar because of those medical practitioners is disturbing. They should be held liable.
LEAVE THIS WOMAN ALONE….
SHE WAS PUT ON A COCKTAIL OF DRUGS BY THE SO CALLED MEDICAL PROFESSION.
THEY ARE THE ONES THAT NEED TO BE IN THE DOCK.
HAVE EXPERIENCED A PERSON WHO HAD A SIMILAR EXPERIENCE AS LINDSAY – LOOKED FOR HELP – AND WAS NOT TAKEN SERIOUSLY. HAD FEARS ALSO OF HURTING HER GRANDCHILD AND EXPRESSED EXPERIENCING SUICIDAL THOUGHTS. ENDED UP CUTTING HER OWN WRISTS IN AN ATTEMPT TO END HER LIFE!!
BOTTOM LINE ….
THE WOMAN WAS CRYING OUT FOR HELP AND THE SO CALLED PSYCHIATRISTS FAILED HER BIG TIME.
NO CASE TAKEN DUE TO THE IMMEDIATE FAMILY WERE THEMSELVES TRAUMATISED AND THEY FELT POWERLESS IN THE SITUATION.
PUT THESE MEDICS AND DRUG COMPANIES ON TRIAL.
THIS POOR WOMAN AND HER FAMILY SHOULD NOT BE PUT THROUGH THIS FARCICAL COURT IN AN ATTEMPT TO SHIFT THE BLAME ONTO THEM.
GOD GIVE THEM THE STRENGTH TO COPE AND GET THROUGH THIS LIVING NIGHTMARE 🙏🙏
What’s confusing to me is why not hire another nanny? If she didn’t like having a nanny, maybe hire a someone to help with cooking and cleaning? This is not an option for everyone, but it was available to this family. My heart goes out to this family and all their lioved ones through this complex grief process ❤
Instead of assuming Lindsey may have been overwhelmed after no longer having a nanny, this attorney says Lindsey was upset because she lost her control over everything when the nanny left and husband went back to work. That’s backwards. When you have a nanny and family in the home doing things that is when she had no control. It’s clever to twist this narrative and for someone who cannot think critically they would believe this upside down prosecution narrative. Wow.
This is so tragic. I cannot get past the death of these babies. I feel that the minute she uttered the words that she was having thoughts of hurting her kids, she should have never left her alone with them. Also being in the mental health field the first thing we ask for is a release for any other prescribers the patient may have before prescribing more medication. There is no doubt in my mind that the cocktail of medications prescribed to this woman and the continuation of stopping one and starting another, in my opinion should have been a mental health longterm inpatient stay to stabilize this woman before doing this at the outpatient level due to the accusations that she had thoughts about hurting the kids. I always error on the side of caution especially if the fate of children are involved. There is so much more information needed to make sense of all this.
