CNN chief data analyst Harry Enten shows that the average price of a gallon of gasoline in California has hit $6.13, $1.65 above the national average of $4.48. Contributing to Californians’ pain at the pump is their gas tax of 71¢ a gallon, more than double the average state gas tax of 33¢/gallon.

Just a thought on California versus someplace like Missouri. A K through 12 teacher starts at $77,000 out in California and they start for $34,000 in Missouri so you can see why the gas might be a little bit cheaper here but we’re still getting screwed more.
Also, we don’t get our Gas from the Middle East so it doesn’t matter if those ships do that or not. Gas should go up 20% because we get 20% of our oil from overseas, but that’s it. So, the rest of it is our domestic commodities corporations gouging the United States people on the markets, we’re talking the gamblers, the movers and the shakers, the oligarchy owned people. We shouldn’t sell one barrel of oil to anybody else. Not a barrel of oil, and Trump and the Republicans in power should have to financially eat it, like the psychopaths that they are.

The real story here is that people in California are paying almost 50% more for gas than the national average. This is what you get when you turn your state over to Democrats. I don’t feel sorry for the people in California, they voted these stupid Democrats into office now let them pay for their own stupidity.
