My abuser’s defense in court was that I ran into his fist multiple times… I am not shocked law enforcement didn’t believe her. Even when law enforcement does believe you, it’s nearly impossible to get the courts to.

It’s the job of every law enforcement detective to take every allegation extremely serious by investigating it to the fullest extent. Only lazy cops will give off the “I don’t believe you” vibes. Contact the upper chain of command at your city government, until you get the proper attention/investigation you deserve.
