While I believe that preserving old growth wood is important, old homes in general contained some very elegant features putting old wood through modern milling techniques and enhancing what a recreation can contain should be much more important than what is displayed on film..
Recreated the corn crib slats on the walls- what’s the material behind, insulation panels?- looks like painted drywall.
