In this video, we explore Arp 272, a pair of interactive galaxies, through the lens of the Hubble Space Telescope. Yes, you’ll also find a planet lying in the middle of it all.

Wonder how these galaxies are looking right now in our time. I wish we could send a camera towards them at light speed and essentially watch a time lapse of these galaxies colliding.

So basically if the signal from the camera goes at the speed of light then it literally wouldn’t matter how fast it’s going it still needs to get to you from the camera however if you traveled with it it would be twice as close to how it looks at the time

To see them right now we’d need something like worm hole tech to send the cam and quantum entanglement communication to recieve an instant signal. Neither of which are ever likely to be developed. To send a cam at light speed means it wouldn’t get there for over 400 million years. Then another 400 million years to receive the signal. By now the merger is well under way.

@nateg08 I understand. I wasn’t thinking that deep with it I just think it’d be cool to watch any 2 or more galaxies collide. Forget all the physics involved😂ik it’d be impossible with our current tech.

@PryorFPV it would indeed be fascinating. So many structures and formations we don’t understand would become clearer if that were possible.

The fact that this channel is showing more and more actual images instead of animation makes me love this channel that much more. I get a lot of it is animation but actually seeing what is out there what is really out there in a real visual image that right there is a feeling that you just can’t animate. An animation just honestly makes it lose True Value
