Public affairs staff and advisers to Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth flooded social media on Thursday with images of Hegseth and one phrase, “Stand. Fight. Defend the Republic.”

The campaign appears to be part of an “aggressive defense” of Hegseth ahead of an anticipated impeachment fight.

The House of Representatives could vote as soon as next week to impeach Hegseth.

CNN’s Brian Todd reports on Trump’s reaction to the impeachment talk and Sen. Thom Tillis criticizes Hegseth’s campaign style video. Also, CNN This Morning’s “group chat” and NewsNight’s panel of analysts debate Hegseth’s future.

The blame actually falls on who hired him and who approved of his employment, those are the people that actually need to be pushed out along with Hegseth

Why is he answering like is democrats who want to teach him? He makes a statement that democrats will have to vote some Republicans who joined them, but actually this impeachment is called by the current Congress Republican, the current house which is Republican.

The Republicans started talking about impeaching this guy seeds, more than 23 months ago when I watch it on CNN so stop calling Democrats name it’s being brought by Republicans because they are upset about the vote.

Pete Hegseth finally got a Republican to talk about accountability. Unfortunately for Pete, it was his.

Pete Hegseth is the second most popular guy in the Trump administration, right behind the new chief of staff Stevie Miller. Of course, it was a two-man poll, and Pete still asked for a recount.

“A drunk, a cheating husband, and an accused sexual predator walk into a bar… and the bartender says, ‘Table for one, Mr. Hegseth?'”

A priest, a rabbi, a minister, and Pete Hegseth walk into a bar.

The bartender says, “What’ll it be?”

Hegseth says, “I’ll have what the president’s having.”

The bartender says, “He’s having second thoughts.”

Mr. Trump, having mistaken a television audition for a military qualification, is now obliged to watch his own party discuss cancelling the program.

Well… impeachment is one thing… war is another… Dem’s impeachment effort has nothing to do with ending the war… Ending the war itself has nothing to do with oil prices. Remember oil prices is high not because we are at war but because the strait is blocked by Iran.
