Doesn’t she realize trump went to roughly 60 courts to try and prove the 2020 election was stolen and all of them said his evidence was basically non existent. trump tried to overthrow the election with a coup. He should not be near the presidency. The list of definite crimes that he has committed is very long and very clear. I am the last person to ever falsely accuse anyone, but these things he’s done are just entirely blatant.

Good for her in walking away from the insanity and hypocrisy of MAGA. I’m amazed at how they conflates the feeling of ‘Patriotism’ with that of simply belonging to a group of people who see the world in the same twisted way, and worship a man and eschew the rule of law and our Constitution.

Hitler did the same thing. What it succeeded in doing? First came the Reichstag Fire Decrees (February 1933). This decree suspended basic civil liberties, including freedom of speech, freedom of the press, and the right to public assembly. Most critically, it legalized warrantless arrests without judicial review. Sound familiar? Wait – its gets better! The Gestapo and Nazi paramilitaries (the SA and SS) immediately arrested between 100,000 and 200,000 ordinary citizens in 1933 alone. Those rounded up were largely regular, upstanding citizens who belonged to mainstream democratic or leftist entities, including Social Democrats, center-party members, trade union leaders, and journalists. They were thrown into makeshift local detention sites and early concentration camps like Dachau. We all know what happened in Dachau. Then came Operation Grid (August 1944). The Democratic party was banned outright, and democratic officials were arrested and thrown in prison. And finally, everyday citizens were constantly subject to sudden arrests because of a culture of fear fueled by their own neighbors and family members. As documented, the Gestapo relied heavily on anonymous denunciations from ordinary people. Out of spite, personal greed, or petty neighborhood disputes, people falsely reported their fellow citizens for “anti-Nazi” comments or listening to foreign radio, which resulted in immediate arrests and indefinite detention, basically – a death sentence. Good God, Trump is taking his clues from Putin and the Nazi playbook (Mein Kampf). If you don’t believe any of this is actually taking place – please. Open your eyes. Listen to what our government is saying. Its all saved out there if you would only listen
