All these people who’ve suddenly discovered who Trump really is—and have started criticizing him, booing him, or whatever—get no sympathy from me. We knew exactly who Trump was before he was elected the first time, and these morons elected him twice.

This is who he is: We now have a forever war. He’s lost 18 Americans, committed war crimes, all over a mythical nuclear weapons threat, and achieved absolutely nothing except closing the Strait of Hormuz.

Prices have skyrocketed. We’ve got a trade war. We’ve pissed off half the world. He hasn’t kept his promise to release the Epstein files, and he tried to get some poor innocent sap thrown in jail for “vandalism” because his favorite contractor screwed up the reflecting pool.

He’s eroded press freedoms and pushed toward China/Russia-style media control, lost a boatload of court cases—predictably—made his wealthy buddies wealthier, and denied millions of Americans access to affordable healthcare.

He’s enriched himself and other members of the Trump-Kushner gang by billions. He doesn’t think we have a right to know how, so allegations have arisen of presidential actions favoring family investments and of insider trading.

He’s created his own Sturmabteilung—ICE—by recruiting disgruntled, violently inclined young men who couldn’t get jobs in real law enforcement. He’s detained a bunch of people who shouldn’t have been detained while driving thousands who should be detained into hiding, so they can’t be locked up in one of the domestic concentration camps he’s built.

Then there’s the tariff debacle, much of which he’s had to reverse, along with skyrocketing gas, grocery, and other prices—and measles rising again for the first time in decades.

He’s just given our biggest global competitor a state visit and behaved creepily and obsequiously, all so he could show him how he’s destroyed decades of White House history and is building an arch to himself, a ballroom nobody wants, and a helicopter pad nobody needed.

He has this deeply weird obsession with naming things after himself and bullying the Nobel Prize Committee into giving him a wholly undeserved prize. And he pardoned January 6 insurrectionists who should be in jail—many of whom came out, committed more crimes almost immediately, and are now back in jail.

This is who he is. And it can’t possibly come as a surprise unless you have less than two working brain cells.

So if you’ve only just figured out who Donny is, well, congratulations, I guess. Some of us have known for more than a decade. You just refused to hear it.
