The defense team did a good job making the jury doubt everything, at least that’s why I think they are taking awhile to decide what to do. This case was nuts though, so many things to consider, but at the end of the day 3 babies lives were lost and they need justice.
What would justice even look like in this case? So many people failed those children.😢
There would be no deadlock if she was a man. Not even a little bit of doubt. Regardless of mental health concerns he’d be declared a monster and receive life in prison.

Men don’t have hormones that go extremely high and extremely low, which can affect women’s mental health. Men can’t get postpartum depression and postpartum psychosis. You have no idea what it feels like to be pregnant, birth, and breastfeed a baby.
