So, early reports were that the earthquake triggered the glacier to fall in the river causing landslides. Now they are reporting that the collapse of the glacier caused seismic activity. So was there an earthquake that triggered the event? Or did they read the seismic activity and assume it was an earthquake . If not earthquake, what caused the landside? Was it climate related?
I miss having a president who cared about world tragedies.

GLOBAL WARMING. Still, in such valleys it seems wiser to build higher. Never fully safe but that would probably be safer.

You know, God never wants us to give up hope. But for those who are searching for survivors in this catastrophic event, please, do not wear yourself down. Time is an essential situation in this predicament, as you can see it is passing. Prayers will continuously stay strong for you in Nepal.!!!

It doesn’t matter that innocent people are killed and didn’t stand a chance because of climate change, because all this time the wealthy could earn their money and now they don’t have any moral obligation whatsoever to send help or make amends. It is what it is – they should have been born rich. 🤨🤨

Are the catastrophes happening in Nepal a judgment from God because of their severe persecution of Christians?
Yes, Christians in Nepal face significant and increasing persecution, driven by a combination of religious nationalism, clan oppression, and state-enforced legal restrictions.  Although Nepal is constitutionally secular, the government enforces vague anti-conversion laws that are frequently used to arrest Christians for evangelism and proselytism, with over 16 harassment cases reported since the 2018 criminal code amendments.

    Key forms of persecution include:

Legal and Government Pressure: Police and local officials often harass believers under the guise of enforcing laws against “hurting religious sentiment” or forced conversion, leading to arrests, detention, and the forced closure of churches.

Community and Family Violence: Converts from Hinduism face the highest levels of abuse, including expulsion from families, physical beatings, and social ostracization, particularly in rural areas and the southern plains bordering India.

Extremist Attacks: Radical Hindu groups, influenced by neighboring India’s Hindutva ideology, frequently disrupt church services, destroy property, and attack Christians with impunity, a trend that intensified in 2024 and 2025.

Forced Displacement: Recent reports indicate that hundreds of Christians, including foreign missionaries, have been forced to leave their homes or the country entirely to avoid violence and legal persecution.

Amazing editing. It’s great how the forced captions cover relevant areas and pop up text ensures you can’t see the things you wanted to.
