Actually our galaxies center black hole, Sagittarius A Star, does not bind our galaxy together the same way our sun binds our solar system. While our sun makes up over 98% of our solar systems mass, Sagittarius A Star makes up less then 1% of our galaxies mass, and has very little effect on our galaxies spin or containment. Scientists believe dark matter/energy is what holds our galaxy together.
just a quick notice: our galaxy does not orbit the Sagittarius A star as its mass is only 000.001% of our galaxy.
