The skilled trades shortage is so dire that all skilled trades are in demand, meaning all skilled trades pay well. Yea except most construction companies hire 100 people in a season and promote 2 of them every 5 or more years, chances of getting into superintendent positions and then management is slim, especially if youre a hard worker because they wont be able to replace a good foreman with a warm body and an IQ lower than that body’s temperature.
“you could be making 2x or 3x what they make” famous last words. You won’t get into the management jobs you showed without a college degree. Good luck.
