From what I remember about this story, the guns were loaded with blanks and Baldwin was recklessly using the firearm between takes.

It’s definitely a case of two people not being safe.

it wasn’t a prop. it was a real gun but meant to be loaded with blanks. regardless, what actor would point a gun and unload it between takes at random?
