Kaley Cuoco is sharing the sweet story of her engagement! The actress sat down with Access Hollywood alongside costar Chris Messina to discuss what fans can expect from Season 2 of their hit Peacock show “Based on a True Story,” and she also spilled some tea about how her fiancé Tom Pelphrey proposed. “He was actually shooting on the East Coast, and he told me he was shooting in the middle of nowhere, and we wouldn’t be able to talk as much for a few days,” she began, before revealing that Tom had secret plans underway. “But he had driven four straight days to surprise me with our family, and he showed up out of nowhere at my ranch, and my parents were there. His family was there, just like a small group, and my daughter was there. And I look over and there he is on one knee. And everyone was standing there. It was like one of the sweetest – I was shocked. Yeah, he really got me.” Plus, Kaley gushed over their daughter Matilda visiting set and bonding with “Uncle Chris,” after sharing how new motherhood prepared her for Season 2. The co-stars also laughed over true crime fan Kaley falling asleep to “Dateline.” “Based on a True Story” Season 2 drops all eight episodes on Peacock Nov. 21.
