As long as Alcaraz or Sinner is around and fit he will never win another Slam. Best he can do is be prepared around the Slams and hope both get injured or drop out for whatever reason, and be ready for the opportunity. That’s how Fed took his lone Roland Garros title, just wait and wait and wait until Nadal wasn’t at his best and got dispatched in earlier rounds. To me, Djokovic should focus on the Connors record of 109 titles by playing as much 250-500 tournaments possible, skipping a number of Masters 1000 as well, and when Alcaraz/Sinner is top fit going into RG/US Open maybe skip that as well and play a few 250s instead, as his only real chances for another Slam are with the Australian Open/Wimbledon.
