False. It was IRIS Dena, a heavily armored warship with a massive 76mm main cannon, two 20mm Oerlikon cannons, surface-to-air missiles, anti-ship missiles and torpedo launchers just to name a few. Stop spreading misinformation.

@GLA.POSTAL.SERVICE Did you not see my comment where I listed the massive cannons, missile launchers and the torpedo launchers it had? This warship absolutely was a weapon of war and thus a legal target. Or do you perhaps mean it didn’t carry enough ammunition to actually fight, because it doesn’t make a difference, it would still be legal target. Let’s also not pretend it wasn’t on it’s way back to participate in the battle. And again, even if it wasn’t on it’s way to war, which it was, it’s still part if Iran’s armed forces and thus a legal target.

*There is a lot of misinformation here, so here’s much needed fact-checking:*
    1. A lot of people claim the ship was unarmed. This is false. The ship was IRIS Dena, a heavily armoured warship with a massive 76mm main cannon, two 20mm Oerlikon cannons, surface-to-air missiles, anti-ship missiles and torpedo launchers just to name a few.

    2. No, it is NOT a warcrime to sink a warship of a country you’re at war with. Just because you don’t like it doesn’t mean it’s a war crime.

    3. It makes zero difference if the ship was in international waters, Sri Lankan waters or anywhere else. The ship could have been at the North Pole and it would still have been a legal target
