I say this with nothing but respect and admiration for all the hard work you all put into the show(s) every week.
Adam should not be hosting Beyond the Box Score. People tune into this show in particular for the detailed statistical breakdowns and advanced stats.
Adam is not somebody who ‘shares the mic’ well, most notably not allowing Jacob to speak for the last 15 minutes of the show. Adam’s hosting style works well with the FFT guys on the normal shows but this show in particular has so much potential but just isn’t reaching it.
Let Jacob talk about the advanced stats, defensive schemes used, snap share % observations, etc. That’s where I find most of the value, and I’m sure where other viewers do too.
Love the shows and have been following for more than 5 years (and very rarely comment). I just got discouraged with the last few episodes glossing over Jacob’s most important points never being discussed or brought up

Yeah I’m 100% with you. I hate to say it because I really enjoy Adam on FFT but I’ve stopped listening to BTB most weeks because of the reasons you outlined. I tune in for Jacob and it’s too often that he doesnt get to speak for long stretches. Last time I tuned it half the show was about Dan and Adams tennis match and the new York Giants.

Ugh, Andy Halloway at FBB has Kyler but he’s been mostly lamenting. M. Berry is stubbornly sticking to Kyler as his ROD and the one place I was patiently waiting for the deep dive rushes it off.
Kyler has been having a very good season in real life.
I hate the rainbow bridge commerical. Incredbly insensitive.
