Case Keenum. keeping a 6th linebacker or a 5th defensive tackle makes more sense than keeping a 3rd quarterback. also, keeping 7 cornerbacks seems unnecessary.
Roschon Johnson. Give spot to Hayden Large. Gives you 4 TE. A FB and he can play some HB for swift or Monangai if they get injured in game.
Why keep 6 LBs when the vast majority of the time Dennis Allen only plays with 2 of them? It makes far more sense to keep a 7th CB (or a 10th D-lineman) than a 6th LB.
I saw a stat that said the Bears played nickel 75% of the time and a base 4-3 formation only 12%.
Ultimately the last few spots will come down to special teams prowess.
Gervon Dexter needs to be cut. He has never improved. Before the draft it was said he had no explosion off the snap and he plays too high. Yep and that’s exactly what he does. He needs to GO.
Why not turn Ruben Hyppolite in a Nickleback given his size and speed, and let Kyler Gordon go on IR?
Glass Gordon!! Needs to stick to ballet or something. Can they fine him if he does another back flip before the game?? I’d hit him with a 90 million dollar fine for thinking about it!
